Oo, favorite literary character? Eanrin, from the Tales of Goldstone Wood. A Faerie Bard, a Knight of the Farthestshore...yes, he is a bit vainglorious and started out quite selfish, but since then he is maturing in so many ways. He has surprising depths of humility that most would never guess from this flashy cat. He never cease to amaze or amuse me. :)

I think my favorite fictional character is (this one isn't from one Of Donita K. Paul's books) it would have to be Elsie Dinsmore! I girl who loved God and honored her father. I love the necklace Mrs. Paul!!

One of my favorite fictional characters is Katniss Everdeen. One from Donita K. Paul's books is Kale from the Dragon Spell books. She's brave and willing to go and get the dragon eggs and take care of them no matter what.

My favorite character is Allie in interrupted by Rachel Coker. Good book everyone should read it.

Of your characters, I have to go with the crowd and say Kale is my favorite. Yours were, I think, the first Christian fantasy I ever read, and Kale showed me that not every Christian protagonist is either twelve years old or cookie cutter perfect. Another favorite character, not from your books, is Miri from Shannon Hale's Princess Academy. She taught me that you don't always have to have a prince for happily ever after. :)

Oh I love these giveaways! That necklace is absolutely gorgeous! I think my favorite fictional character is probably Annabeth Chase from the Percy Jackson series. She's really smart, but gets underestimated because she's a blonde, like me. lol

Favorite fictional character is probably Jag.

Mrs. Paul:

You have long been such an inspiration to me as a fantastic author! Never stop doing what you do! I really hope maybe one day I'll see my books next to yours. They won't be as awesome, but it'll still be absolutely amazing. Thank you for all the adventures (and always providing more),

My favorite fictional person is Anne of Green Gables. She was my favorite as a child. I have past the love on to my little girl. She made me laugh, cry and cringe all at once and most of all believe in true love.

Lucy, in The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.

Hmmm My favorite character is probably Alastair Coldhollow from the Sword in the Stars, by Wayne Thomas Batson. I love that he conquers all his fears and past life to pursue a life of freedom in the Savior.

Hi Donita! :)

Ok, please don't laugh, but my favorite fictional character of all time is a toss up between Cinderella and Ariel. I still believe in teh fairy tale and I admire Cinderella's work ethic and creative use of making do with what she had available to her. :)

As a kid my favorite was Aslan in the Chronicles of Narnia :) I loved that series as a kid!

Wow, I read so many books, it's hard to chose one character that has impacted me the most! But I think maybe it would be Shaylinn from 'Captives' by Jill Williamson. I just really like her character! She is brave, and doesn't loose it too easily.

Thanks for hosting this giveaway! The bracelet is SO cool!

My favorite fictional character is easy: Anne Shirley from the Anne of Green Gables series. I have loved the books since I was 9 (I'll be 21 in a few days) and they are still my all time favorites. I read them over again often and they impact me every time. It's amazing to read something and know how it has shaped the person I am today. Anne has been my friend and companion and has taught me countless things. It sounds cheesy, but reading her words give me hope for the future and reminds me to look for the beauty in life.

My favorite fictional characters are the unassuming ones. Sam-wise from Lord of the Rings, is the one that comes to mind. They are almost always secondary characters but they are there strong and committed to seeing the hero through.

Rhett Butler would be my favorite because that is the book that got me started reading. Entering under the name of Virginia.

I have many favorite fictional characters. Elizabeth Bennett is near the top of the list.

I really don't have a favorite fictional character. I love all my characters in every book I read.

No doubt, my favorite fictional character would have to be Stengl's Eanrin. He's won my reading heart, despite his arrogant ways. ;)

I have so enjoyed your books. I have been a dragon lover since I read the Dragon Rider books of Anne McCaffrey and when I found yours and that they had a Christian theme I was overjoyed. Thank you for such a good set of books.

I have enjoyed your Dragon books as I had liked Anne McCaffrey's books. I was glad to see one set of books that had a Christian theme and my favorite mythical animal. Keep sending more good stories our way.

I have so many favorite characters. It really is hard to pick just one. If I had to though I think it would be Bilbo Baggins. I loved the Hobbit and made me fall in love with fantasy style books.

Sarah Pennington said...

I have a LOT of favorite fantasy characters, but one of them is Aidan from The Door Within Trilogy? Why? Because Aidan, like me, is an ordinary teen, but he does extraordinary things, and that gives me hope.

Thanks for the giveaway and for being part of this awesome scavenger hunt!

As always, I'm finding new authors on this scavenger hunt. I look forward to reading some of these books.

My favourite characters would have to be Oskar N Reteep and Podo Helmer both from The Wingfeather Saga. They both made me laugh out loud and I'm quite good at showing no emotion when reading a book, whether it being sad or funny or thrilling. So for them to get me to crack a smile or even laugh hystarically says a lot.

Your work is new to me. Learning about you on the blog. Thanks for participating and the opportunity to win the beautiful necklace.

Oh, I just saw I was suppose to make a comment about a favorite fictional character. I have many but one more recent that has made an impact is Wyatt Caragon from "The Inheritance" by Tamera Alexander. He prays a prayer for himself and others that is most difficult to pray "Break me Lord or Break them Lord until I'm or they are wholly Thine!" If we can pray this prayer and mean it...that is hard and humbling.

Hi Donita! Thanks for being part of this hunt! Gosh, I have hundreds of favorite fictional characters how can I ever pick one? I think my two favorite female characters both come from the same author, Lisa T Bergren. Gabriella Betarini in her River of Time series & Daria in The Gifted series!

I have several favorite characters. Some of my older faves include Anne Shirley from Anne of Green Gables, Lucy from The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, and Gandalf from Lord of the Rings. And my favorite character by Donita is Wizard Fenworth because he makes me laugh!

I don't really have a favorote fictional character. But if I had to choose, it would be Bonnie from Bryan Davis's series'. She showed me many things when I was younger. I really appreciate Mr.Davis for writing all of his books about dragons and Bonnie:)

Wow... My favorite fictional character.... That's a really tough one! If Robin Hood were solely fiction it would definitely be either him or Maid Marian, but those stories are based off of truth so I can't say him....

Probably Elizabeth Bennet. She's such a strong character with her own personality despite what everyone in her day and age believed and felt to be proper and right. She's not afraid to speak her mind and always has something witty to say, or something to back up her idea on a subject. I love that about her.
