Very cool! Already entered the bonus giveaway!
I love reading your books! I have read them many, many times over. I loved reading to my cousins when I babysat them. It has been a great pleasure to indulge in and share your books with my friends and family.
Hmm.. My favorite dragonSpell Memory..I guess just talking to my friends about it!!!!! We love the series!!!
I don't remember how I discovered Ms Paul, but DragonSpell was the first book I read. I have now read all of her books. For Christmas I gave a copy of DragonSpell to my niece, she is now hooked and reading the series as fast as her mother will allow.
I found Mrs. Paul's work in a audio bookstore when I was looking for the latest Stephen King book. When I found his latest book it was close to Dragon light in the new release section. After reading the back of the box I tried to find Dragon spell. Long story short I walked out with Dragon spell and listened to it on the way home. I've been hooked ever since
My favorite memory of Dragonspell... when I finished the book the first time, I ran to my mom and dragged her out the door to find the next book, which I finished 2 hours later... I really, really like this series.
don't have one
My husband isn't all that into reading. He's very picky plus reading doesn't come as easily to him as it does to me. (We've recently learned he probably has moderate dyslexia as our daughter was recently diagnosed with severe dyslexia.)
Anyway, my favorite memory of Dragonspell is it was the first book (and then series) that my husband enjoyed and shared with me. We'd been hunting for books that would be interesting enough for him to want to persevere in reading. There are a few out there (Harry Potter, Left Behind) but they are few and far between. He saw Dragonspell on the shelf at Borders or BAM and was intrigued. He read the entire thing in mere days and quickly picked up the rest of the series and then gave me no peace until I read them, too. Having a series to share and discuss with my husband was special and rare.
These books were pretty much my favorite thing when I was in middle and high school. I found DragonSpell in a Christian bookstore when I was probably in 7th grade. It took me forever to find the others, I remember hiding a copy of DragonFire in a store so I could come back and buy it later. There are few books series that I own in their entirety but DragonKeeper is... it, actually. I think it's the only one. And the Chronicles of Chiril.
The relationship between Kale and Bardon was always my favorite thing in the books. They are such a great dynamic and the progression of their relationship is so masterfully done. It makes me happy all over. :)
