No Dragons, but lots of Saurn

I belong to several critique groups, and I tell you that it is amazing how much talented is pooled in those groups. But getting published has more to it than just talent. My colleagues have worked hard to hone their skills. Crit groups are the highlights of my week. Well, one of my critique partners has hit paydirt. His debut novel came out today. So flare and fanfare, I introduce to you, Starfire, by Stuart Vaughn Stockton.

Cool. Sounds interesting. Is it about dinosaurs, I see one in the advertisement. I used to want to be a paleontologist.

Donita,

I live in Colorado Springs, what are some Crit groups you would reccommend to join. Do you do direct mentoring?

It's about an alien race of dinosaur-like beings. Not quite dinosaurs but heavily inspired by them.

I used to want to be a paleontologist as well. :)
